CLARK ELIJAH 1878He died between Jan 12, 1878, the last day on his doctor's bill and Sep. 2, 1878, the day the Court ordered an Inventory and Appraisement of his Estate. The Court appointed JAMES H. CLARK as Administrator. The Inventory of his Estate listed 133 1/3 acres. They held the sale of personal property on Oct. 26, 1878. Buyers with the same last name were LOUISA CLARK and MARY CLARK, who were both unmarried. They sold his land on Nov. 5, 1878. The Final Return for 1879 showed equal payments of $89.38 to ISABELLA MOON, L. L. RICE, MARTHENA BROOKS, and JAMES H. CLARK. These people were probably the heirs. (24 documents)
